Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There were two juveniles in the car. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officers mentioned. We don't know their exact ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
