Federal agents entered Uvalde faculty to kill gunman despite local police initially asking them to attend

Federal agents who went to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 youngsters were informed by local police to attend and not enter the varsity — and then determined after about half an hour to ignore that initial steerage and find the shooter, say two senior federal regulation enforcement officers.
