BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "college shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, however they determined there isn't a credible threat presently.

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of felony threatening and three misdemeanor charges including false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged at this time.
