The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed through the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and she or he was simply crying, like 'I think it simply hit Miah. I believe every little thing came to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her associates and classmates were also focused.

Rivera said that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah acquired some blood and put it on herself so she might faux she was dead," said Rivera. "It's an excessive amount of for me to play that scene over and over, however that is what my sister-in-law stated is that she noticed her buddy full of blood and she or he bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her back," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, stated the household is rallying round Miah to help her get better bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this point, we simply have to pray and ask God to help us move ahead by way of this example, I know it is traumatizing as it is," stated Rivera.
