Nashville Public Library launches ‘Freedom to Learn’ marketing campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It is a topic that's taken hold in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Walk Two Moons" have been pulled from cabinets.

While those books is perhaps banned from some schools, there may be still someplace else you could find them.

"Our job is just to ensure that if you would like it, it is here for you," stated Public Information Officer for the Nashville Public Library, Ed Brown.

"'Maus' is all checked out proper now," said Brown. "So we obtained extra copies on order however as soon as phrase bought round about what happened in McMinn County, we obtained plenty of holds."
