Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Big Macs each day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak began on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count every Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All through life here, a lot of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be useless earlier than you attain 50 years of consuming Large Macs.’ I assume I proved them improper,” he said.

His son just isn't shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely satisfied meals. I always beloved my chicken nuggets, and my brother at all times cherished his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an on a regular basis life form of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has extra of a varied diet.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets day-after-day. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, but eventually you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he definitely does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he'll proceed eating Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.
