Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of companies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center Faculty around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area together with several different companies in an attempt to seek out him.
The teen was discovered near the college’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old might be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anyone inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Middle School was briefly positioned on lockout on account of the incident.
