DALLAS - The high court docket will allow a wrongful loss of life lawsuit to proceed against the town of Dallas and 4 cops.

The family of a person who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa referred to as police for assist as he had a drug and mental health crisis.

The town fought against releasing physique digicam video and whit it did come out it was obvious why. It showed the officers mocking the dying man.

The town of Dallas argued the officers are legally protected from lawsuits.

The Supreme Courtroom upheld a federal appeals courtroom’s ruling that will allow the case to proceed.
