Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.
