Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles within the automobile. Both had been taken to a hospital and are actually in secure condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
