A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Outdated Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison live on the park, and so they have injured more folks than another animal, the park stated.
When the customer got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks have been additionally near the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned people to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
