A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The lady approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison reside at the park, they usually have injured more people than some other animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals have been also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and a minimum of 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this text misstated the severity of the lady’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
