The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I feel it just hit Miah. I feel the whole lot got here to actuality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her pals and classmates had been additionally focused.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.
